Electropresto is a small family business that has been manufacturing electronic scoreboards and sports timers for New Zealand stadiums, clubs, and schools for over 25 years.

Listening to you

We are the manufacturer selling direct so we have direct contact with our customers.  We do understand that you have particular requirements, and we are able to translate those requirements into a particular display or operator functions to be included as part of the electronic scoreboard or timing equipment.  We enjoy delivering a completed electronic scoreboard that you will be thrilled with, and that we know will enhance the fun of your sporting activity.

Once you have contacted us, often it will be Heather that will speak to you first, to understand what you are looking for, and how we can help. 

We will then send a quotation for the appropriate scoreboard from our range of standard products, addressing any particular aspects we are aware of, and outlining possible options you may wish to consider.  This initial quotation gives you an idea of the costs, and you can gauge how it fits with your requirements and what other aspects need to be included or excluded.  We then look forward to a discussion to clarify any aspects, and update the quotation if required.  Once the order is confirmed we immediately initiate the manufacture based on the specific requirements.

Our Experience 

We have the experience to appreciate the environment that your equipment will be used in, whether it be a public stadium where the scoreboard and control panel has to withstand abuse, or protection from the weather for an outdoor scoreboard.  We will pass on our knowledge and experience to you during the discussion of your requirements.

Hardware and Software Design

All our products are designed in-house, so not only are we able to provide a wide range of equipment to meet the requirements of all the sporting codes, but also our knowledge and expertise of the product is available directly to the customer. We have a well established supply chain for the various components and parts that go into making up a scoreboard, thus ensuring that only top-quality materials are used in the manufacturing process.  We bring all the components together in the assembly of the scoreboards, carry out the detailed testing, and hardware and software customisations that are required to meet particular requirements of individual clients.

The software is written in-house, which means that we can provide features that meet particular needs, and we can carry out after-sales modifications as requirements change.  For example, a few years ago there were rule changes for basketball, and we were able to change the software for the shot clocks for our large customer base, at a fraction of the cost compared with other equipment that would need to be replaced to meet the rule change.

We also understand that you want value for money, and that there is always a requirement to match the budget with the size and functionality.  As a direct manufacturer to customer, we are able to provide exceptional value for money with the elimination of “mark-ups” – not only do we take responsibility to ensure you get the scoreboard you expect, but we also ensure you have knowledgeable technical support  long after the equipment is purchased.  So you not only get very competitively priced equipment up front, but also long term lower cost of ownership.  Yes, we do have customers coming back to us after 15 – 20 – 25 years to purchase new equipment!

Applications for Grants

A lot of our clients apply for funding and need quotations to support the funding application, we are only too happy to assist with providing the information required.

Installation

Where required for the larger equipment, Electropresto can provide installation assistance to your local electrical contractor.  This ensures the installation is done efficiently and the equipment is fully tested and demonstrated to the Users on site.

Alternatively we are happy to freight the equipment for the customer to install, and we provide full instructions and detailed schematics.
