Electronic Scoreboards and Timing Equipment

Electropresto supplies quality electronic scoring and timing equipment. We design, manufacture, install, and provide long term technical support for the products we sell throughout New Zealand.

	Scoreboard Design
	All of our products are designed in-house. This gives us the flexibility to provide the specific functions and facilities to match our client's needs. We have a wide range of standard equipment, which forms the basis of meeting the requirements of each customer. Often we will describe the typical displays on the scoreboard and then in discussion with the client finalise any particular features to be added or removed to fit the final design. Our design includes: a) the physical requirements, including the chassis and enclosures to withstand the environment. b) the electronics hardware, the communications between the display and the control panel. c) the software to ensure the equipment is easy to use, provides all the functions expected, and is robust in use. This also means, as the manufacturer, we are able to undertake modifications down the track. For example, the rules for basketball shot clocks changed from 30 seconds to 24 seconds - Electropresto was able to reprogram the shot clocks for our customers at minimal cost.

	Manufacture
	Electropresto manufactures all our products locally, this allows us to ensure the materials and workmanship are maintained at the highest standard. We use proven suppliers for our components, and are constantly monitoring to ensure only the best quality components are used. The manufacturing process includes: a) The chassis, or enclosure, produced to order for the main display b) The control panel preparation and assembly c) The printed circuit boards and electronic assemblies d) The wiring and assembly e) The coding and programming of the microprocessors f) Final assembly and extensive testing g) Packing, crating, and freighting

	Installation
	Electropresto will undertake the installation of the larger scoreboards, as required by the customer. Alternatively we will supply full installation instructions to enable the work to be carried out by others. Where possible, the wiring should be installed during construction of a facility. Electropresto will provide the wiring specifications to enable the Electrical Contractor to install the wiring at the appropriate stage during construction.

	Technical Support
	Electropresto provides full repair services - often it is economic to courier items to Electropresto for a 1 - 2 day repair service. Where practical, Electropresto will come to the client's premises and carry out the repair. For all our permanently installed equipment Electropresto provides a full operations and maintenance manual, which includes schematic diagrams. This allows the local electrical servicemen to fault-find and repair efficiently and quickly. Should the local serviceman require advice, Electropresto is available by phone to talk through a problem, identify probable causes from the symptoms, and recommend a course of action. As the manufacturer Electropresto carries a full range of spare parts, and this greatly simplifies the repair process.
